Our common areas are bright, vibrant, and inviting. You can spend time reading a book from our library, catching up on a soap opera, sports game, an old familiar TV show, or watching a movie on our big screen TV. We are very excited about our newest addition to our common area: a 7-foot-long fish tank that offers a feeling of serenity. Watching fish is very therapeutic, creating relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, and providing a calming effect.
Our computer station allows you to safely surf the net and keep in touch with loved ones via email, with your own personal email address @serenityhome.ca.
At Serenity, we enjoy picnics, day trips, and often participate in the local events of beautiful Parry Sound.
Our beautifully landscaped courtyard is surrounded by the stunning rock of Georgian Bay. Our colourful gardens and raised garden beds entice residents to be outdoors. Each resident is encouraged to plant their own garden to create a homelike atmosphere.
